who am i?

My name is Indy Welch. With a name like that, could I be anything other than a racing driver??

I’m a junior kart racer from Wandsworth, south west London, looking for my next win. I’m 13 years old and off to a good start. Having started only two years ago, I am already looking to step up to the next level. I have already competed in the British Indoor Kart Championship Finals, getting to 17th out of 5000 drivers, won several indoor championships, and silver at Daytona Superchamps. I’m currently running second in the FAT League Regional Championship, which could ultimately see me competing in the US! I’m also in the Southern Junior Super Light Weight Club100 Championship and improving every race!

What’s next?

The next stage for me is moving into professional owner karting in 2027. This is where it gets serious… you have your own kart, you join a team and start entering some of the best club and national championships around. This takes talent, commitment and unfortunately, more money.
